Parts of a Computer
A computer is like a super helpful man who can do tons of work, but it needs different parts to work together just like a sports team! Here are the main parts of a computer, like the key players on a team:
- The Brain of a Computer (CPU): It is called the “Central Processing Unit”, this is the most important part, kind of like the human brain. It tells the computer what to do and makes sure everything works smoothly.
- Memory (RAM): This is the computer’s memory. It holds information the CPU needs to quickly access for tasks you are doing right now.
- Storage: This is like the computer’s big memory, where it remembers things even when you turn it off. It’s like a giant filing cabinet for your games, photos, and documents.
- The Screen (Monitor): This is like the computer’s window to the world, showing you everything that’s going on.
- Keyboard: This is how you talk to the computer. The keyboard is like a typewriter for typing words and commands.
- Mouse: This is how you talk to the computer. The mouse is like your finger pointing and clicking on things you see on the screen.
- Speakers: These are how the computer talks back to you. Speakers let you hear sounds and music.
- Printer: These are how the computer talks back to you. A printer lets you print things out on paper, like pictures you made or reports from school.
Those are the main parts that work together to make your computer run!
